Local Travel GI Certified Nursing Assistant – Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Connected Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with GI and inpatient experience for a 13-week local travel contract in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting while enjoying the beauty of central Wisconsin.
Job Details
- Contract Length:Â 13 weeks
- Start Date:Â ASAP
- Shift Requirements: 12-hour variable shifts (Days/Nights)
- On Call/Call Back:Â Not required
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Job Description
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
- Assist patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Perform POC blood glucose testing, Foley care, bladder scans, and postmortem care.
- Work with patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, sepsis, wound care, and GI conditions.
- Assist with lifts and transfers, including operating all lift equipment safely.
- Provide sitter 1:1 care for patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in EPICÂ (preferred experience).
- Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure a high standard of patient care.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active WI CNA certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of acute inpatient experience required
- EPIC charting experience strongly preferred

- Strong communication and teamwork skills to provide the best patient experience.
