Local Travel ICU Registered Nurse - Woodruff, WI
Connected Health Care is excited to announce an opportunity for a Local Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Woodruff, WI. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients in a critical care environment.
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Shift Requirements: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour variable shifts
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Job Description:
- Provide direct and comprehensive patient care in the ICU.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Float to other units, including Medical Surgical, as needed.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Current Wisconsin RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; one travel assignment preferred (not required).
- Epic charting experience preferred.
Unit Overview:
- 10-bed ICU unit with an additional 34-bed IMC/MS unit.
- Patient ratio: 1:2 in the ICU, 1:3-1:4 for IMC, and 1:5-1:6 for MS.
- Scrub colors: Any color.
