Local Travel ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse – Newburgh, IN
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 12-Hour Days
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Local Travel ICU Stepdown RN for an assignment in Newburgh, Indiana. Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing Stepdown RN to join a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional care to patients transitioning from ICU-level treatment. Candidates must be able to manage complex medical conditions and maintain accuracy in high-acuity environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Unit

  • Monitor, assess, and treat patients requiring intermediate critical care

  • Administer medications, perform assessments, and update care plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

  • Utilize EPIC EMR for charting; CUPID experience highly preferred

  • Comply with hospital protocols, infection control standards, and documentation practices

Requirements:

  • Indiana RN License (Single State) – Required

  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS – Required

  • Minimum 2 years ICU Stepdown or similar specialty experience – Required

  • At least 1 completed travel assignment – Required

  • Experience with EPIC – Required; CUPID – Preferred

  • Availability to work every other weekend and holiday
