Travel ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Weeks - Evansville, IN
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Days
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 Based on Experience
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a highly skilled and dependable Local Travel ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Evansville, IN. If you have a strong background in cardiac/telemetry care and trauma experience, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your travel nursing career while staying local.
Contract Highlights:

13-week local travel contract

Weekly compensation up to $2,550 (based on experience)

12-hour day shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
-
No on-call or callback required

Guaranteed hours and a supportive team environment
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide specialized care to patients in an ICU stepdown environment
-
Monitor complex cardiac and telemetry patients
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care
-
Administer medications, IVs, and interventions per treatment plans
-
Accurately chart using EPIC electronic health record (recent experience required)
-
Participate in trauma care protocols within a Level II trauma facility
-
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Active Compact RN License (must be current)
-
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years of recent Cardiac/Telemetry experience
-
At least 2 completed travel RN assignments
-
Trauma Level II experience required
-
Recent EPIC charting experience required (will complete a checkoff class upon hire)
