Job Title: Travel IMC Registered Nurse - 13-Week Contract

Location: Wausau, WI
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-Hour Nights

Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Travel IMC Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Wausau, WI. This position is perfect for a nurse with Stepdown/Intermediate Care (PCU) experience looking for their next adventure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide care in a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit, caring for patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, stroke, TBI, and more.
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Float Requirements: Will float to higher acuity inpatient units as needed.
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• On-Call: No on-call or call-back requirements.

Requirements:

• Certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown/Intermediate Care/PCU, ICU experience preferred. Trauma Level II and ventilator/trach experience required.
• Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel assignment is required.
• Charting: Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Unit Information: 36-bed unit with a patient ratio of 4:1. Focus on ventilator weaning, trach care, insulin drips, chest tubes, and more.
