Job Description & Requirements:
- Facility: Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital
- Location: Stevens Point, WI
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour variable)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Shift Details: Variable Days/Nights
- Floating: To all inpatient units; potential to float to Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Divine Savior
- On Call/Call Back: None
- Weekends: Every other
- Holidays: Every other
- Certifications Required: WI RN, BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years, Stepdown/Intermediate Care/PCU required; no new travelers (must have completed at least one contract)
- Charting: EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Unit Info:
- Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit
- Common cases: Tele, stable sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, insulin drips
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- 12-bed ICU, 23-bed MS unit
Skills Required: Independent worker, fast-paced, resilient, adaptable, social
Scrub Color: Any
