Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Associate of Applied Science or Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
  • Certifications Requirements: 1. American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or ARRT-CV)
    2. Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT)
    3. BLS (American Heart Association) certification
  • Experience Requirements: At least 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience (Neurovascular and VIR)
  • Other Requirements: Ability to push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for 4 hours, walk long distances, and work in a fast-paced hospital environment

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive interventional radiology procedures assisting physicians with high-difficulty neurovascular and VIR cases.
  • Prepare and operate ultrasonographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment according to departmental protocols and patient needs.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety guidelines and occupational health standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage in the Electronic Health Record and PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless patient care and achieve departmental efficiency during daily operations.
