Local Travel L&D/OB Registered Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Location:Â Hollister, CA
Compensation:Â Up to $2952 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics (L&D/OB) Registered Nurse for a local travel contract in Hollister, CA. If you're an RN with a passion for maternal and newborn care, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while earning top pay.
Job Description:
- Provide care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor fetal heart rates, assess maternal health, and respond to complications
- Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures
- Administer medications, including epidurals and pain management treatments
- Educate expectant mothers and families on pre- and post-natal care
- Ensure a safe and supportive birthing environment for mothers and newborns
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow hospital protocols
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active RN License in California (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D or OB nursing experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications (required)
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with confidence and compassion
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Contract Details:
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
- Day and night shifts available
- Weekly compensation up to $3,024 (based on experience)
- Local travel contract – must reside within a commutable distance
