Local Travel L&D Registered Nurse – Nights - Ironwood, MI
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,150/Week Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week local travel assignment in Ironwood, Michigan. This opportunity allows you to bring your expertise to a supportive, patient-focused facility in a beautiful northern setting.

Position Overview:

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,150 based on experience

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Nights

• Location: Ironwood, MI – Local travel preferred (within 50–100 miles)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period

• Monitor and interpret fetal heart tones and contractions

• Administer medications, including epidurals and IV therapies, as ordered

• Support obstetricians and midwives during childbirth procedures and emergency interventions

• Educate patients and families about newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery

• Document all aspects of patient care and communicate effectively with the care team

• Ensure patient safety and follow established protocols in high-pressure situations

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Michigan or compact state eligibility

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (AHA preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills
