Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Ironwood, MI - Nights
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,300 (based on experience)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled and resilient Travel L&D RN for a 13-week assignment in Ironwood, Michigan. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery nurses who are confident managing both OB and Med/Surg duties and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Job Description:

  • Provide care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

  • Monitor vital signs, fetal heart tones, and contractions using specialized equipment

  • Support and educate mothers during labor and childbirth

  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and support staff

  • Administer medications, assist in deliveries, and respond to emergency situations

  • When OB census is low, float to the Med/Surg unit as needed

  • Chart patient interactions and treatments using EPIC (preferred)

Requirements:

  • Active Michigan RN License – Required

  • AHA or ARC BLS – Required

  • Advanced NRP Certification – Required

  • Minimum 2 years of recent OB experience – Required

  • Previous experience with EPIC charting – Preferred

  • Must be adaptable, hardworking, and comfortable with change

  • Strong communication and independent decision-making skills

  • Must be willing to float between OB and Med/Surg units (Heavy MS expected)

  • Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday

  • Scrub Colors: Any color
