Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
Facility: Edgewater Haven
Location: Port Edwards, WI
Shift: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM (8-Hour Nights)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

About the Opportunity:

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel/contract assignment at Edgewater Haven in Port Edwards, WI. Job Details:

  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (excluding holidays and orientation week)
  • Shift Details: Night shift (9:45 PM – 6:15 AM)
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
  • Floating: All three wings of the facility

Unit Information:

  • 300 Wing: 33 beds (current census: 26), mix of hospice and long-term care patients.
  • 500 Wing: Locked dementia care unit (25 beds, current census: 16).
  • Facility licensed for 72 private beds, with a normal census of 45-60 patients.
  • Staff support includes at least one other CNA and RN/LPN on your unit.

Qualifications:

  • License/Certifications: Wisconsin or Compact RN License, AHA BLS required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in long-term care or a similar setting.
  • Education: ASN or BSN.
  • Skills: Hardworking, resilient, adaptable, and socially engaging.
  • Covid-19 Vaccine: Required.

Dress Code:

  • Scrubs: Any color.
  • Jeans allowed on Mondays and Fridays; khakis allowed anytime.
  • Closed-toe shoes required.
  • Facial piercings must not be of the hoop variety.
