Travel/Contract Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Albemarle, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,100 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Albemarle, NC. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in a supportive clinical environment while enjoying the beauty and charm of central North Carolina.
Job Description – L&D RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, family-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery

Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and progression of labor
-
Administer medications, assist with epidurals and C-sections, and provide emergency interventions as needed
-
Educate and support patients and families through the childbirth experience
-
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team
-
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
Contract Details

Length: 13 Weeks
-
Compensation: Up to $2,100/week (based on experience)

Schedule:

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
-
No on-call requirement
-
Holiday expectations: Traveler will work 75% of holidays
Licensure & Certifications Required

Active RN License – North Carolina or Compact State
-
BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

EFM – Electronic Fetal Monitoring
-
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Education Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Labor and Delivery strongly preferred
