Local Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – West Chester, PA
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,700/week (based on experience)
Shift: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours/Week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week local travel contract in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Position Highlights:

  • 13-week contract with potential for renewal

  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

  • Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled

  • Weekly compensation up to $2,700, based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages

  • Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and progression of labor

  • Assist with epidurals, inductions, and emergency procedures (including C-sections)

  • Educate and support expectant mothers and their families

  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow all hospital safety protocols

  • Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other medical staff

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred

  • Strong ability to respond in high-pressure, emergent situations

  • Excellent patient communication and team collaboration skills

Certifications:

  • Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact eligible)

  • BLS (AHA)

  • NRP certification required

  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
