Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Pittsfield, MA
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,000/Week Based on Experience
12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a hospital partner in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, skilled L&D nurse to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns while enjoying all that the scenic Berkshires have to offer.

Position Overview

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 12-hour nights | 36 hours per week guaranteed

  • Weekly Pay: Up to $3,000 based on experience

  • EMR System: Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care

  • Monitor and assess mother and baby during all phases of labor and delivery

  • Administer medications, IVs, and manage epidurals and other pain interventions

  • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries

  • Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and pediatric teams

  • Educate patients and families on postnatal care and newborn health

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts or compact state – required

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience – required

  • BLS (AHA) – required

  • ACLS (AHA) – required

  • NRP Certification – required

  • Meditech Expanse experience – strongly preferred
