Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university.
- Certifications Requirements:
- Current Texas Speech Language Pathologist license or valid Texas compact license.
- Provide evidence of ASHA certification or equivalent certification in Speech-Language Pathology, if applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- At least 2 years of SLP experience preferred, particularly in long-term care settings.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work dayshift hours, approx. 8 hours per day.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow regulatory guidelines and facility policies.
