Travel Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist – Lexington, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,850 DOE
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, NC. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced MRI techs to expand their career while enjoying the charm and livability of North Carolina’s Piedmont region.
Job Description
As an MRI Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in patient diagnostics by performing high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician instructions and departmental protocols. You’ll work in a team-oriented environment committed to excellence in patient care.

Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images per established protocols

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures

Prepare patients for exams and clearly communicate the scanning process

Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality results
-
Adhere to safety guidelines for patients and staff regarding MRI procedures
-
May work minor holidays if scheduled; facility is closed on major holidays

Weekend rotation dependent on department needs (to be confirmed during interview)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Weekly Pay: Up to $2,850/week, based on experience

Holidays: Work minor holidays if scheduled; closed for major holidays

Qualifications & Requirements

ARRT (MR) Certification required

BLS Certification required

Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred

Ability to work independently and maintain professional demeanor

Proficiency with MRI imaging systems and electronic medical records

Strong attention to detail and patient-centered care approach
