Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Certification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Certifications Requirements: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, BLS, and NC State Licensure (preferred but not required)
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Other Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, weekend rotation, and holidays; excellent patient care and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Responsibilities
- Provide advanced MRI imaging services according to departmental protocols, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Verify patient identities using two identifiers, explain procedures, and prepare patients for imaging exams with professional and compassionate care.
- Review and evaluate imaging requests, questions discrepancies with radiologists, and ensure accurate order verification prior to procedures.
- Administer IV contrast agents following departmental safety protocols and document all relevant details accurately.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, perform routine quality control checks, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed during examinations.
