Job Description

Local Travel Mammography Technician - Days - Cumming, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,730 (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mammography Technician for a local travel contract in Cumming, Georgia. Job Description

  • Perform high-quality mammographic exams with precision and care

  • Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic images

  • Ensure compliance with radiologic safety standards and regulatory requirements

  • Document and maintain patient records accurately within EMR systems

  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

  • Educate patients about the procedure to ensure comfort and cooperation

  • Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and functionality of imaging equipment

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

  • Current licensure in the state of Georgia (if applicable)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography imaging

Experience Requirements

  • Proficiency in digital mammography systems and PACS

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
