Job Description
- Perform high-quality mammograms for screening and diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image clarity while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Educate patients on the procedure and provide compassionate care throughout the exam.
- Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to assess and interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification: ARRT(M) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.
- Licensure: Must meet Georgia state licensing requirements for Mammography Technologists.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
