Local Travel Mammography Technologist | Atlanta, GA

Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. This is a great opportunity for experienced imaging professionals looking to advance their careers in a state-of-the-art outpatient center.

Job Details

  • Position: Local Travel Mammography Technologist
  • Location: Atlanta, GA
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality digital mammography imaging following ACR and FDA guidelines.
  • Ensure proper positioning, technique, and safety measures to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
  • Educate and prepare patients for mammograms, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Cerner and follow proper documentation protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide quality patient care.
  • Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • ARRT (M) Certification – Required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mammography – Required
  • Experience in Multi-Modality Imaging – Preferred
  • Proficiency in Cerner EMR system – Preferred

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
