Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Nights - Evansville, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Nights
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a top-tier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a local travel opportunity in Evansville, IN. This assignment is with one of our premier healthcare partners and offers a rewarding chance to gain experience in a Level II Trauma Center.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise in a high-acuity environment, a commitment to excellent patient care, and the ability to thrive during night shifts. You'll be working alongside a dedicated and skilled nursing team in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients

  • Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

  • Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR

  • Comply with hospital policies and procedures

  • Adhere to weekend/holiday rotation schedule

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Compact RN License – Required

  • Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications – Required

  • Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience – Required

  • At least 1 prior travel assignment – Required

  • Experience in a Level II Trauma Center – Required

  • Recent EPIC EMR experience – Required (checkoff class will be completed)

Assignment Highlights:

  • No On-Call or Call-Back Requirements

  • Must be available for 3 weekends every 6 weeks

  • Every other holiday required
