Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Evansville, IN
Contract Length: 13 Weeks | Day Shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,550 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a top-rated healthcare facility in Evansville, Indiana. This position offers excellent pay, a supportive environment, and the chance to work in a Level II Trauma Center—perfect for RNs looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic setting.

Position Details:

  • Location: Evansville, IN

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

  • On-Call Requirement: None

  • Weekend/Holiday: Three weekends per 6-week schedule, every other holiday

  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550/week based on experience

  • Charting System: Recent EPIC experience required (checkoff class mandatory)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to med/surg patients in an ortho/neuro/trauma-focused unit

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care

  • Document patient progress accurately using EPIC

  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Current active compact RN license

  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required upon submittal)

  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience

  • At least 1 year of ortho/neuro/trauma experience

  • At least 1 completed travel assignment

  • Trauma Level II experience required

  • EPIC experience required (must pass a checkoff class)
