Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Lawton, OK
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,610/Week (Based on Experience)
Night Shifts: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | No On-Call | Float to Similar Units as Needed

Job Description:

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in the Medical/Surgical unit

  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform assessments

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate treatment plans

  • Float to similar units such as Orthopedics, Bariatrics, and PCU based on hospital census

  • May be required to assist with care for COVID patients in the Respiratory Care unit

  • Utilize Epic for accurate and efficient documentation

  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and families

Shift Details:

  • Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

  • Float Requirements: Alike units including Med/Surg, Ortho, Bariatrics, PCU

  • On-Call: Not required

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Active RN license in North Carolina or any Compact state

  • Certifications:

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – required

  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – preferred

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience

  • At least 1 successful previous travel nursing assignment – required

  • New travelers will not be considered

  • Charting: Proficiency with Epic – required
