Job Description

Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse – New London, WI

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for an exciting opportunity with one of our valued healthcare partners in New London, Wisconsin. If you’re a Med/Surg RN with strong clinical skills and experience using EPIC, this 13-week assignment offers excellent compensation and the chance to work in a supportive care environment.

Position Overview

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 12-hour nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Weekly Pay: Up to $2,760 based on experience

  • On-Call Requirements: None

  • Charting: EPIC experience within the last year – required

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit, managing diverse medical conditions

  • Administer medications including insulin and amiodarone drips

  • Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient conditions

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

  • Ensure accurate and timely charting using EPIC

  • Comply with hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control practices

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Wisconsin RN License – required

  • AHA BLS Certification – required

  • AHA ACLS Certification – required

  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience – required

  • Must be comfortable with insulin and amiodarone drips

  • EPIC charting experience within the last year – required
