Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
- Certifications Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA NIHSS, GA or compact RN license; AHA ACLS (highly preferred)
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of two years of solid experience on a Medical-Surgical unit; previous travel experience preferred
- Other Requirements: Recent experience with Sickle Cell and PIV insertion; physical ability to work 12-hour shifts; strong clinical skills and adaptability

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Medical-Surgical care to adult patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and seamless communication across departments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient statuses, treatments, and interventions in Meditech Expanse EMR system.
- Implement protocols for patient safety, medication administration, and infection control standards, including PIV insertions and sickle cell management.
- Float to various units as needed, providing consistent and high-quality nursing care in diverse clinical settings.
