- Education Requirements: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certifications Requirements:
- Current active Indiana compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
Experience Requirements:
At least 2 years of strong Med/Surg nursing experience
Experience with recent EPIC charting and check-off classes
Previous travel assignment preferred
Other Requirements:
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float within skillset to different units and campuses
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to a diverse patient population, including cardiac, post-surgical, neuro, and other medical conditions.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergent situations promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic charting system, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including initiating and titrating drips, managing drains, and performing invasive procedures such as NG tube insertions and straight caths.
- Float within skillset across different units and campuses, providing support to team members and ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
