Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Weeks - Evansville, IN
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Evansville, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RN to provide high-quality patient care while enjoying competitive compensation and the flexibility of a travel contract close to home.

Position Highlights:

  • 13-week local travel contract

  • Weekly compensation up to $2,550 based on experience

  • Collaborative and supportive hospital environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care on a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit

  • Monitor and record patient symptoms, progress, and responses to treatment

  • Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies

  • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan patient care

  • Document care accurately using the facility’s electronic medical record system

  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families

  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Indiana RN License (required)

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • EPIC charting experience preferred
