Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications Requirements: Active Illinois RN License (no pending licenses or temps), AHA BLS, Covid-19 vaccination (subject to change)
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience, charting experience required with EPIC, confident and independent nursing skills
- Other Requirements: Ability to float to ED/ICU, resilient, social, adaptable to change, and capable of managing a demanding night shift

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to a 36-bed unit, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
- Document patient information accurately and promptly in EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including CNAs, physicians, and specialists, to coordinate patient care.
- Adapt quickly to staffing changes, floating to ED/ICU as needed, and demonstrate resilience during night shifts.
