Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Nursing degree from an accredited program (e.g., ADN, BSN)
  • Certifications Requirements: WI RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS if applicable
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in ED or ICU settings, with recent Med/Surg experience preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to read tele strip, strong charting skills in Epic, and flexibility to float between departments and facilities

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry, and respond appropriately to critical changes, including reading tele strips.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care, including floating to other departments as needed and assisting with vital checks.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in Epic electronic medical records system, maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional appearance in scrubs, supporting a safe and efficient work environment.
