Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS certification, State RN license, and optional additional certifications as required by the facility
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float to multiple facilities, flexibility to work night shifts, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, adhering to facility protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR system.
  • Execute patient assessments and respond promptly to emergent needs during night shifts.
  • Assist with floating responsibilities to Aspirus Rhinelander, Howard Young, and Eagle River facilities as needed, ensuring seamless patient care continuity.
