Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Must possess an active, valid RN license in Georgia
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred; Med Surg certification a plus
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg and Telemetry RN experience; previous hospital experience required; experience with ICU or step-down units preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float to all Med Surg/Tele units; flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts; strong critical thinking skills; excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality Med/Surg and Telemetry patient care according to hospital protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry data to identify patient status changes and communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including IV drips such as insulin and heparin, with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including CNAs, unit secretaries, and resource nurses, to ensure seamless patient care and safety.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
