Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – 13-Week Contract
Location:Near Longmont Colorado
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,360 (Based on Experience)

Position Overview – Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist Job
The Travel MLS will perform diagnostic laboratory testing, ensure quality control compliance, and support patient care through accurate and timely laboratory results. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced laboratory professionals seeking a travel contract in a critical access or community hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform moderate to high-complexity laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and urinalysis
- Analyze and interpret laboratory test results with accuracy and efficiency
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission standards
- Perform quality control and proficiency testing procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding lab results
- Maintain proper documentation within the laboratory information system (LIS)
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- Current ASCP (MLS or MT) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital laboratory experience preferred
- Strong generalist background highly preferred
