Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Pittsfield, MA
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,820/Week DOE

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Job Description:

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit

  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform nursing procedures per protocol

  • Work with telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac rhythms

  • Float between units as needed to support patient care

  • Accurately document care using Meditech Expanse (preferred)

  • Ensure patient safety and promote high-quality nursing standards

Shift Information:

  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts

  • Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of current Medical-Surgical nursing experience

  • Telemetry experience required

  • Willingness to float to other units as needed

  • Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course strongly required

  • Experience with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license (Massachusetts or compact)

  • BLS (AHA) – Required

  • ACLS (AHA) – Required

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required

  • Associate degree in Nursing (minimum); BSN preferred
