Local Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – 13-Week Contract -Pittsfield, MA
Shift: Days | Mix of 12-Hour and 8-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,850 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing partner, is currently seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled RN to join a dynamic medical-surgical team while working in a scenic and culturally rich New England town.

Position Overview:
This role is ideal for an experienced Med-Surg RN who is flexible and comfortable working a blend of 12- and 8-hour shifts. Candidates must have a strong clinical background and the ability to adapt to changing patient care needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit

  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and update care plans

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members

  • Accurately document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes

  • Support patient recovery by educating individuals and families on care plans

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Active Massachusetts RN License – Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience – Required

  • ACLS Certification (AHA) – Required

  • BLS Certification (AHA) – Required

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification – Required

  • Strong critical thinking, clinical, and organizational skills

Contract Details:

  • 13-week local travel assignment

  • Day shifts with occasional evenings as needed

  • Mix of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts

  • 36 hours/week guaranteed

  • Weekly pay up to $2,850, depending on experience
