Local Travel Medical/Surgical/Telemetry (RN) – Days - Newburgh, IN
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Days
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Local Travel Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Newburgh, IN. This role is perfect for a skilled RN with a strong background in cardiac/telemetry nursing and trauma-level care looking to earn competitive pay close to home.

Position Highlights:

  • 13-week local travel contract

  • Weekly compensation up to $2,550 (DOE)

  • 12-hour day shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

  • No on-call/callback requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med/Surg/Telemetry unit

  • Monitor and manage cardiac and telemetry patients

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive treatment

  • Administer medications and manage IV therapies per provider orders

  • Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system

  • Participate in trauma protocols and respond to emergency situations

  • Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery expectations

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Compact RN License (must be current)

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac/telemetry experience

  • At least 1 completed travel RN assignment

  • Trauma Level II experience required

  • Recent EPIC charting experience (checkoff class required at start)
