Travel Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Chicago, IL
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,970/Week Based on Experience
12-Hour Night Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | No On-Call Required

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a highly respected hospital partner in Chicago, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for seasoned travel nurses looking to work in a fast-paced, urban healthcare setting with top-tier professionals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult patients on the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit

  • Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms and intervene as needed

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage post-op care

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans

  • Accurately document patient information in the EMR system

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Illinois RN license – required

  • BLS (AHA) – required

  • ACLS (AHA) – required

  • NIHSS Certification – required

  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience – required

  • Must have at least one prior completed travel assignment – no new travelers accepted
