- Education Requirements: Valid Illinois RN license
- Certifications Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/TELE experience, with at least 1 travel assignment; Neuro experience required
- Other Requirements: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills; recent EPIC charting experience; ability to float to medical units; resilient and adaptable; comfortable handling Neuro and neuro-surgical patients; basic tele interpretation skills; strict Is & Os documentation; venipuncture and blood culture proficiency; ability to initiate/titrate heparin gtts.; stable gtts (e.g., Protonix, Lasic); must have current active IL RN license and valid certifications; pass drug screen and background check

- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans, utilizing strong neuro assessments and critical thinking skills.
- Document patient status and treatments accurately in EPIC, maintaining compliance and care standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Float to other medical units as needed, providing support and coverage during fluctuating staffing needs.
