Job Title: Travel Medical Technologist - Merrill, WI

Job Description:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and timely test results
• Analyze blood, urine, and other bodily fluids for abnormalities or diseases
• Prepare and examine samples, and conduct quality control procedures
• Document test results and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret lab results and provide recommendations
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the laboratory setting

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Current Medical Technologist (MT) certification or eligibility from a recognized certifying body (e.g., ASCP, AMT)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
