Travel NICU Registered Nurse – Wauwatosa, WI
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,000/Week Based on Experience
12-Hour Night Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend & Holiday

Connected Health Care, a nationally recognized recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel NICU Registered Nurse to join our hospital partner in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This Level IV NICU position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a cutting-edge facility while enjoying top-tier pay and flexible scheduling.

Position Overview

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 12-hour nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 based on experience

  • On Call: None

  • Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday

  • Charting System: EPIC – required

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill and premature infants in a Level IV NICU setting

  • Monitor and assess neonates requiring respiratory support including CPAP, high flow oxygen, and tracheostomy care

  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and respond to emergent changes in patient condition

  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and family members to deliver comprehensive care

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with infection control and NICU protocols

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – required

  • Active Wisconsin or Compact RN License – required

  • AHA BLS Certification – required

  • NRP Certification – required

  • AHA PALS Certification – preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience – required

  • Level IV NICU experience – required

  • Pediatric experience – preferred

  • Experience with CPAP, trach care, high flow oxygen – required

  • EPIC charting experience – required
