Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or active compact license.
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP, Valid Driver’s License, and current TN or State Nurse License.
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of level III NICU experience required; travel experience preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float between units and facilities, resilience, excellent communication skills, flexibility in scheduling, and proficiency in EPIC charting within the last 12 months.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to NICU infants, including assessments, monitoring, and administering ongoing treatments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans according to hospital protocols.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient status and interventions using EPIC charting system.
  • Float between the NICU, Mom/Baby, and other hospital units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care during staffing fluctuations.
  • Execute emergency procedures and respond promptly to acute patient needs, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
