Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist – Waukesha, WI
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,000/Week Based on Experience
12-Hour Day Shifts | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | No On-Call Required

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a highly skilled Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist for an exciting contract opportunity with a top healthcare facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This is an ideal role for experienced respiratory therapists comfortable working in high-acuity settings including NICU, critical care, and general respiratory therapy.

Position Overview

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 12-hour days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Weekly Pay: Up to $3,000 based on experience

  • On-Call Requirements: None

  • Charting System: EPIC (must have used within the past 12 months)

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a variety of settings including NICU and ICU

  • Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications

  • Respond to emergency situations including neonatal resuscitation and critical care interventions

  • Start and manage IVs, arterial blood gases, and other respiratory diagnostics

  • Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

  • Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record system

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Current Wisconsin RRT license – required

  • NBRC RRT or CRT certification – required

  • BLS (AHA) – required

  • ACLS (AHA) – required

  • Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience including NICU and critical care – required

  • EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months – required
