Local Travel Neonatal Registered Nurse (NICU RN) - Charlotte, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,100 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing partner, is currently seeking a highly experienced Neonatal Registered Nurse (NICU RN) for a local travel opportunity in Charlotte, NC. This position is perfect for RNs who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are passionate about providing top-tier care to critically ill newborns.
Job Description:

Provide specialized care to critically ill or premature newborns in a Level 3 or Level 4 NICU
-
Perform assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and operate specialized equipment
-
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
-
Deliver family-centered care by supporting and educating parents and guardians
-
Ensure documentation is thorough, timely, and meets hospital and regulatory standards
-
Float to similar units as needed if NICU census is low
Minimum Requirements:
-
2 years of strong experience in Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU
-
Must be comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
Licensure & Certifications:
-
Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
-
BLS (Basic Life Support)
-
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Schedule Details:
-
8 shifts required within every 6-week schedule period, including combinations of Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays (may be grouped or worked separately)
-
Must work day after, day of, and every other holiday while contracted
-
Weekend rotation: 2 Fridays, 2 Mondays, and every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

No on-call requirement

May be floated to similar units if NICU is not able to utilize
