Local Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Wausau, WI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 Based on Experience
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Nights
Schedule: Every Other Weekend & Holiday | No On-Call Required
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a Local Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a top-tier hospital partner in Wausau, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will directly impact patient outcomes. If you have a strong background in Med/Surg ICU and Neuro ICU with solid neuro assessment skills, this could be the perfect assignment for you!
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill neurological patients
-
Conduct frequent neuro assessments and monitor for changes in patient status
-
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other medical professionals
-
Administer medications and manage ventilators, central lines, and other critical equipment
-
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using EPIC
-
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and compliance with standards of care
Requirements:
-
Active WI RN License
-
BLS and ACLS certifications (NIHSS preferred)
-
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience, with at least 1 travel assignment preferred
-
Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background REQUIRED

Strong neuro assessment and critical thinking skills
-
Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records system
