Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid Wisconsin RN license or compact state license
  • Certifications Requirements: AHA BLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN; at least 1 travel contract completed
  • Other Requirements: EPIC charting experience within the last year, resilience, strong work ethic, adaptability, excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized neuro and postoperative care to neurology patients, including stroke, brain, neck, and spine surgery cases.
  • Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and patient responses, documenting findings accurately within EPIC systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to complex neurological cases.
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, recovery expectations, and medication management.
