Local Travel Registered Nurse – Neurology - Nights - Newburgh, IN
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Nights
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Local Travel Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract with one of our trusted hospital partners in Newburgh, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Neuro RN who is looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive team and trauma-level facility.

Position Highlights:

  • 13-week local travel contract

  • Competitive weekly pay up to $2,550 (based on experience)

  • 12-hour day shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

  • No on-call/callback requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level neurological nursing care to patients with acute and chronic neuro conditions

  • Administer medications and perform complex neuro assessments

  • Monitor changes in neurological status and report to the medical team

  • Collaborate with physicians, PT/OT, and other team members to coordinate care

  • Care for stroke, seizure, and post-surgical neuro patients

  • Document accurately using EPIC EMR (checkoff required)

  • Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Compact RN License (must be current and unencumbered)

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent neuro nursing experience

  • At least 1 completed travel assignment

  • Trauma Level II experience required

  • Recent EPIC charting experience required (checkoff class will be provided)
