Local Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician – 13-Week Contract
Atlanta, Georgia
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, GA, to find a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician for a local travel assignment. This is an exciting 13-week contract opportunity with competitive pay and the potential for extensions.

Job Description

  • Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for imaging and therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras, to capture functional images of organs and tissues.
  • Analyze and interpret scan results in collaboration with radiologists and physicians.
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
  • Provide compassionate care and explain procedures to patients.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Certification: ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Must meet Georgia state licensing requirements for Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
