Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – 13 Week Contract - Atlanta, Georgia

Position Overview:
As a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced and patient-centered environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures

  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to capture images of organs and tissues

  • Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort

  • Analyze imaging results and collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnosis

  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital protocols

  • Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines regarding radiation exposure

  • Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited institution

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

  • Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

  • Previous travel or contract experience preferred but not required

  • Strong interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking skills
