Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity with one of our respected healthcare partners in Atlanta, Georgia. Position Overview:
As a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced and patient-centered environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures

Operate nuclear medicine equipment to capture images of organs and tissues
-
Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort
-
Analyze imaging results and collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnosis
-
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital protocols
-
Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines regarding radiation exposure

Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
Education and Certification Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited institution

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
-
Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
-
Previous travel or contract experience preferred but not required

Strong interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking skills
