Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Oncology - Merrill, WI

Job Description:

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital or clinical setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including response to cancer treatments and medications
• Administer chemotherapy, manage side effects, and support patients through their treatment process
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about cancer, treatment options, and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and regulations
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred
• Strong clinical skills, communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care
