Job Description

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating needs and ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient progress.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Wisconsin (or eligibility for reciprocity).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred).
• Minimum of one year of OR nursing experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and infection control practices.
