Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Location: Hendersonville, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,850 (Based on Experience)
Shift: Weekend Nights | Friday – Sunday | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Call Rotation: Required (including one 24-hour call shift per contract)
Holidays: One 24-hour call required per contract
Friday Morning Huddle: Required attendance at 6:45 AM

Job Description:

Deliver professional nursing care in the Operating Room across all service lines

Prepare patients for surgery and assist during procedures as scrub and/or circulating nurse

Monitor patients' conditions and communicate effectively with surgical teams

Ensure all documentation and charting is accurately completed in EPIC (must be current within 6 months)

Participate in call rotation and emergency case coverage

Maintain sterile environment and follow hospital safety policies and protocols
Float Requirement:
-
Participation in department’s call rotation is required
-
No additional float outside of surgical unit
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2–3 years of recent Operating Room experience

Must be comfortable handling emergency cases across all surgical service lines

Active NC or Compact RN License
-
Certifications Required: AHA BLS
-
EPIC experience within the last 6 months
-
Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
